Although the cashless payment sector is expanding very rapidly, the Polish market is still amongst the lowest in the Europe to have saturated the market. However the increase in cashless payment is increasing greatly year by year (reaching over 330million zloty in 2009)

The amount of new places where card payment transactions can be made is also increasing. By the end of 2009  there were 170 thousand sale point where card transactions could be made and the numbers are increasing daily.

The expansion of the market is confirmed through the innovative projects that MCX Systems alone realized last year.
